I've loved this series from book 1 on. I truly loved seeing all the characters actually meet up in this exciting read... Not to mention piece together how Donnel ties in with everyone.... Add in a psycho trying to harm them for some unknown reason, and Scarlett's psycho, money grubbing mother into the mix and we have an interesting foe. To fully understand this final book in the exciting series, I HIGHLY suggest reading the previous books. Not a neccesity, but helps with the back story. People from many different time lines band together to help save the life of an unborn baby... Along the way they learn there are more family to be discovered and enemies to escape. All in all it's a really fun read with romance, family and an obsessed psycho trying to end it all.

I thoroughly enjoyed every novel in Angelina Fortin's A Laird for All Time series. The plot for each novel built to the next and the characters were inventive and a delight to follow from one novel to the next. A fresh take on highland men, and you can't help but love their strong women, too!
Loved it. Couldn't put it down. A bit of a stretch to assume no language challenges between English and Garlic and 500 yrs, and how easily everyone adapted to each other's time but after all it's just a fantastic lark Hoping very much that this isn't the end of this series, I'd love to see everyone together again.
I was so excited to see another book in this series and so sad to see it’s the end. Angeline Fortin is one of my favorite authors. In this book she touched on so many current issues while keeping on track with hot highlanders, passion and a story line that had me guessing till the end. I know she said it’s the finale but why hints about future characters? We can only hope!
This book was fantastic. Angeline Fortin keeps your interest throughout the whole book. This last book brings the characters from each of the other books into play where they are all together from a different time, bringing them all foward. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing what was going to happen next.
I would recommend this books to all my friends & family. I still wish there was another book to follow because I love her books.
Books don't make me cry very often but I cried at the end of this one. I was sad to see the series end. It was quite the adventure to see how everyone's story intermingled. Such love and a sense of family among them all. Hoping to see some ever afters for everyone but I guess you can have it all. However Ms Fortin did give us a little tease so maybe she will sit down one day and tie up those loose ends she unraveled in the last few pages.
One word to describe it AWESOME. Loved each and every one of the couples. Wonderful concept of travelling back in time to correct a wrong and of a love so true that it endures lifetimes.

I was on a roller coaster of fear for each couple as they had an unrelenting nemesis determined to eliminate them. It was also quite enjoyable to see the reaction of these HE MEN to the 21st century. Would love to know what Donnell's story is. He had such control over each couple's lives.

I definitely recommend reading this book, but must read the first four books before this one to truly understand and love it. The writing was easy to follow and not too many editing issues.
I don't typically purchase books. I borrowed Books 1-4 in this series via Unlimited. But I couldn't stop myself from purchasing this book, Book 5 and the Finale.

I quickly gobbled up Books 1 & 2, but stopped at 3 bc as it started, I was afraid it was going to branch into the more BDSM version of books these days, of which I'm not a fan. (Don't worry, it doesn't.) You see, Angeline does something I've not seen in other authors even ones as ubiquitous as Nora Roberts or Danielle Steele - all of her characters are unique. Their thought patterns, verbal cadence, habitual gestures, (and most importantly/unusual) their romantic acts emphasized in the bedroom scenes. Often, books from the same author repeat the same acts when 2 characters get together. As one who reads a plethora of genres and authors, it's frustrating bc people aren't really that similar, especially when it comes to gestures and preferences. HUGE props to Angeline for making each set of characters absolutely independent from the others.

And finally, FINALLY, you've brought the ancients forward. LOVED this. You included everything I would have wanted to see from that occurrence, as well (driving, lights, machines, paparazzi, TV, excellent!). All while wearing a story that was true to the world you had already created. Great job!

I think others will enjoy it as much as I did. Go grab this book today! Don't wait, you'll be rewarded handsomely.
