I like a good romance, and Ms. Faye writes fairytale-type romances, like Barbara Cartland, but on steroids - of the sexual kind. The sex scenes are very explicit (!!!) and even what some would call vulgar, so if you are offended by this, don't read this book... but if you are not, well then... enjoy! I did.

Why this new novelist don’t add more history to the plot .. I want more seduction and interaction between the characters before everything. I like the novels of Sylvia Day, El James and others that give more intrigue and interaction ... this novel start with the King who comes to abduct the protagonist and he has only seen her once.. please we need more realistic plot
Well we’ve had princes, daddies, doctors and mountain men to name but a few and now we have a king...this author is one of the best writers of short instalust stories...she manages to find that perfect balance between a red hot plot and a scorching hot romance...

I loved the premise of this book and whilst there is.some melodrama en route, to the hoped for HEA, there is also plenty of humour ... wow Hayden is one possessive, alpha king; I love a guy who just goes out and gets what he wants and to hell with the consequences; and what he wants is the beautiful Princess Callie...even though she is already spoken for... in addition to these two there are plenty of secondary characters that are begging to have their stories told also....

This is an awesome start to a brand new series...I can not wait to read more... I received an advanced copy of this novella from the author.
I was just expecting a dirty little read from this, but got a delightful little story too! Not only did I get a scorching hot king, but I also got a man who has desperately wanted a woman and can’t bear to see her married to a man he knows she doesn’t love. I only wish the story was longer.

Read this if you want incredibly hot sex and a sweet story to go along with it.
This book is just porn disguise as a romance novel. If you want to read porn, then you find the right book. I couldn't even finish it!
This was a fun read! It was appropriately filthy upfront and I enjoyed that, haha. It was graphic as intended. The story is simple and serves the purpose to move it along to get to the good parts. There were a few times that the misspelled words threw me out of the story (proofreading goes a long way) and there were some grammar snags. It did bug me a little that the author referred to the King as "Your Highness." If I'm not mistaken, it should be "Your Majesty." based on the ranking of importance (Prince/Princess would be Highness). She does this in the last book in this series (Filthy Ever After), too. I'd recommend it if you want fun and raunchy!
I'm pretty sure Madison Faye is now on my list of favorite authors. I picked up King Sized the first book in the Royally Screwed series and read it through in one sitting (about 115 pages)

So the story is quick and smooth, hot and dirty had my kindle almost smoking. The King didn't make his bride his mostly right away but teased to perfection. I'd have liked a bit more about the mystery with the cargo but *shrugs* but it kept me way entertained. I loved the characters both prime and secondary and can't wait to read the others in the series. Enjoy.
This is the fourth book in the Royally Screwed Series by Madison Faye. This series is about four friends ; King Hayden of Rince, King Sven of Northlund, Prince Cole of Luthane, and Xavier, Duke of Bandiff. All four men are royalty but they also consider themselves outsiders which is why they became such good friends. All four men will be attending King Milton and Princess Callie’s wedding. King Milton is a horrible man and one of the four friends has his eye on her. Princess Callie has no desire to marry King Milton, she’s only doing it to help her parents financially. Luckily she has her three best friends with her, Lola, Faith, and Riley. The four girls are all royalty but none of them seem to fit in which is probably why they became besties. The four royal men may have come to the wedding alone but all of them will be leaving with their wives.
